About Us
Feed My Fam began as a school project focused on understanding food insecurity in Chicago. Through research and firsthand observation, we identified the areas with the highest concentration of food deserts—many of them in the very neighborhoods where we grew up. What started as an assignment quickly became personal. We saw families, children, and individuals struggling not because of a lack of effort, but because of a lack of access.
As natives of Chicago, we carry a deep love for our community and a burden for families and individuals without stable shelter. We believe no one should go hungry or be forgotten. Our heart is not only to provide nourishment through food, but to serve people with dignity, compassion, and respect—meeting them where they are without judgment or exposure.
Feed My Fam was created to offer both physical and spiritual nourishment. Along with providing meals and essential resources, we desire to share the Living Water and the Bread of Life—Jesus Christ. We started Feed My Fam because we saw a need, and we felt called to help fill it. Our mission is to serve, uplift, and love our neighbors in both word and action.
